The King’s Troop Foundation is a non-public fund; founded in 2020 it is the official charity for The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery. It is governed by rules of the Service Funds Regulations under Army Code 60450 and is recognised by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs as a charity for Gift Aid (HMRC ref ZD16166). As a start-up charity that only supports serving members of the Armed Forces, the Foundation is classed as “excepted” by the Charity Commission so we don’t have a registration number yet; full registration with the Charity Commission will follow once income reaches the required level.

The Managing Trustee is the Commanding Officer of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery by appointment.
